Sancheti’s College of Physiotherapy One of the first institutions to provide physiotherapy instruction was the Padmabhushan Dr. K.H. Sancheti-founded organisation. Through the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, it provides a 4-and-a-half-year Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.Th.) and a 3-year Master of Physiotherapy (M.P.Th.) degree (MUHS). Furthermore, through MUHS, it provides an 11-month Post Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy programme. SICOP is acknowledged by both the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) and the Maharashtra State Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy Council.

The Progressive Education Society, a renowned educational organisation known for its academic excellence, was established in 1934 by eminent educator Prof. S. R. Kanitkar.
From pre-kindergarten to post-graduate levels, a variety of institutions are successfully managed by this distinguished organisation. He received assistance from young, accomplished professors with a track record of success, including Shri V. T. Tatke, Shri G. G. Damle, and Shri Koparkar, among others. One of the top colleges for physiotherapy is Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Physiotherapy. It is acknowledged by the Maharashtra State Council of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy and the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) (MSCOTPT). Graduate, postgraduate, and PhD programmes are offered by the college.

In Pune, Maharashtra, the DES Brijlal Jindal College of Physiotherapy was established in 2007 by the Deccan Education Society. The DES Brijlal Jindal College of Physiotherapy is associated with a recognised MCI. The faculty of the College claims that practising physiotherapy include providing patients with preventive, curative, and rehabilitative care in a variety of medical contexts. In 1984, the Maharashtra Medical Education and Research Centre (MME&RC), a trust, was established under the authority of the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. This Trust established the Laxmi Devi Saraf Diagnostic Center and the Z.V.M. Unani Medical College & Hospital. The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik is affiliated with Z.V.M. Unani Medical College, which has been granted accreditation by CCIM, New Delhi. In addition, the Maharashtra government has given its approval.
Both academics and extracurricular activities have a long history at this college. The M.A. Rangoonwala College of Physiotherapy and Research was established by the Trust at the start of the 2004–2005 academic year and has a 30 seat capacity. Permission was granted by State Government Order No. MED-1399/CR/117/99.The College has a grant dated October 29, 2002 and is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. Our college is recognised by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists.

The BPT undergraduate programme opened its doors to 30 new students in 2006. The MGM Aurangabad physiotherapy department offers all the necessary academic, clinical, and research resources for undergraduate students (BPTh). On the MGM campus in Aurangabad, the MGM Institute of Physiotherapy was founded in 2006 with approval from the Maharashtra Government’s Medical Education and Drugs Department.

30 new students entered the BPT undergraduate programme in 2006. For undergraduate students, the MGM Aurangabad physiotherapy department provides all the essential academic, clinical, and research resources (BPTh). The MGM Institute of Physiotherapy was established on the MGM campus in Aurangabad in 2006 with permission from the Maharashtra Government’s Medical Education and Drugs Department.

The Department of Physiotherapy at the Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Pravara Rural Hospital was established in 1976 to address the preventive, curative, therapeutic, and rehabilitation needs of the rural population. The Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam College of Physiotherapy (Formerly Known as “College of Physiotherapy”) was established in 1997 in order to meet the demand for a training programme for physiotherapists that was urgently needed. The College of Physiotherapy was established in 1997 to do this.

“The institution has ties to the University of Pune in 1997 and the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nasik, from 1998 to 2003. When Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences was given the title of “Deemed University” in 2004, the College joined PIMS-DU. The Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), the Maharashtra State Council for Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy, and the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) have all recognised the College.
