The K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce was founded in 1974 by the brilliant industrialist Late Shri Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja. The philanthropist, who cared deeply about the welfare of humanity, gave a portion of the profits from his fledgling businesses to charitable causes, especially in the fields of healthcare and education, which he believed to be universal human rights.One of Mumbai’s finest universities, the K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce, holds the ISO 9001 Certification.
When it first opened in 1974, there were 400 students enrolled; as of this writing, there are over 7000; the number of teachers has increased from 12 to 105. The university, which only offered one Commerce course when it first opened, currently offers 41 courses in streams in the Arts, Sciences, and Commerce that range from the PhD level to the Higher Secondary level.

The Sadhana Education Society-run L. S. Raheja College of Arts & Commerce is located in Santacruz, the heart of Mumbai’s suburbs (West). It is a Gujarati-speaking institution that offers top-notch instruction from upper secondary to PhD programmes to a linguistic minority.
The Society also started the Malati Jayant Dalal Nursery School and S.B. Kindergarten in 1975. The Society founded L. S. Raheja College of Arts & Commerce in 1980 to unify education from preschool to doctoral level under one roof and to support students’ holistic development.

The Lala Lajpatrai Memorial Trust was created on the eve of the late Lala Lajpatrai’s birth centenary celebration in 1959 to further the causes that meant so much to Lalaji. Lalaji was actively involved in almost all of the activities that improved national and social life, but education was always his first priority. Our late Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri thought that the best way to honour the great patriot’s legacy would be to establish a higher education institution.
In Hajiali, there is a college connected to the University of Mumbai on Lala Lajpatrai Road.

History demonstrates unequivocally that classes quickly filled up. The College, which is located at 123 Dinshaw Wachha Road and faces the University of Mumbai with its imposing clock tower, was built on ideas.

The South Indians in Mumbai gave the then-young State of Maharashtra the SIES Arts, Science, and Commerce College, which was inaugurated on June 20, 1960 by Shri Y. B. Chavan, the first Chief Minister of Maharashtra, to meet the constantly growing educational needs of students from the North and Central Mumbai Suburbs. The degree-level Commerce Stream was established in 1980–1981 An astounding 4,000 students attend the college, which is connected to the University of Mumbai, and they represent all parts of this diverse city.

The B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.M.M., B.M.S., B.B.I., B.A.F., B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc. (I.T.), and M.Com. are among the degrees available through Senior College. Affiliation with the University of Mumbai exists for the college.
The Education Department, the Maharashtra Government, and the H.S.C. Board have granted the Junior College permission to teach F.Y.J.C. and S.Y.J.C. classes as well as vocational courses in electronics, computer science, and information technology.
The college offers a Ph.D. in chemistry as well as an M.Sc. in zoology, chemistry, botany, and business and has a research centre connected to the University of Mumbai.

Jai Hind College, Autonomous, Mumbai was established immediately after India’s independence in 1948, primarily with the goal of repairing the educational system for the Sindhi population. It was founded by a group of former instructors of D.J. Sind College in Karachi and other renowned educators. They wanted to construct a top-notch educational institution, so they offered their skills, knowledge, and expertise.
The college quickly developed from its humble beginnings as a two-room institution that exclusively offered courses in the Arts stream to adding Science in 1949 and then Commerce in 1980. After 2000, the college introduced a number of “Self-financed” and “Vocational” courses to assist students in finding employment after graduation, including the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM), Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (BAF), Bachelor of Banking and Insurance (BBI), Bachelor of Financial Market (BFM), and Bachelor of Vocational Studies in Travel & Tourism Management (B. Voc. TT) and Software Development (B. Voc. SD).
